I grew up in North Dakota and Nebraska, then attended college in Colorado, giving me a strong love for the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains, and the American west. I feel art should try to create or become part of a universal ideal of beauty. In my photography I strive to create images that celebrate nature in this manner.
